Scott Kuhl Warning: I may have no idea what I am talking about!

I entered a Mega Millions lottery pool at work even though I know the odds are horrible.  I once heard someone say the definition of lottery is “taxes for people bad at math”.  But Murphy's Law, I don't want to be the one guy who didn't enter the pool.  I know, it's stupid.

But, here is my question.  The numbers on the Mega Ball are 1 - 46.  But on the back of the ticket, it says your odds of picking the Mega Ball are 1 in 75.  Can someone explain this?

Found the answer: You have a 1 in 75 chance of hitting only the Mega Ball without hitting any other number. You have a 1 in 46 chance of hitting the Mega Ball and a 1 in 40 chance of winning something.
