Scott Kuhl Warning: I may have no idea what I am talking about!

SitePoint's latest newsletter is promoting XForms again.  Now that there are working plugins for both IE and Firefox is it a good idea?

As you can see, when the Mozilla XForms implementation becomes publicly available, developers who have the luxury of asking their Internet Explorer users to install a plugin could find real-world uses for this technology fairly quickly.

I say no.  And it's because of that word luxury.  You will completely alienate yourself from Mac users and corporate clients.  I know most companies don't like you installing additional plug-ins to the browser, assuming you even have the ability.  And until it's integrated into Visual Studio, good luck getting adoption from the Microsoft camp.  I really don't see this taking off any time soon.  It doesn't solve a critical problem.
