Geeks With Blogs

Scott Kuhl Warning: I may have no idea what I am talking about!

IdeaBlade is pleased to offer the IdeaBlade-Lite rapid application development (RAD) framework for .NET absolutely free! Applications built with IdeaBlade-Lite may be developed, deployed, and even resold royalty-free.

IdeaBlade-Lite includes a RAD framework, an integrated ORM, model-view-controller architecture, advanced UI DataBinding, integration with Developer Express and Infragistics control suites, and one-click deployment and versioning.

Okay, so now, does anyone use this?  Opinions?  Also, does anyone have pricing on the IdeaBlade Business Object Server so I don't need to call sales, find out it's too expensive, and then dodge calls for the next 4 years?

Hi Scott - I'm the product manager at IdeaBlade. I'm responsible for discovering the features that developers need; I'm not in sales and I don't do pricing.

We have numerous customers with different budgets using IdeaBlade in a wide variety of configurations. They don't tend to look at blogs so I think this may not be the best way to get the information you desire.

Your best bet is to contact us at I can assure you that this will not lead to 4 years of spam and late-nite calls. We don't have time for that either. You tell us when the conversation is over ... and it is over.

Regards, Ward
