Scott Kuhl Warning: I may have no idea what I am talking about!

Microsoft has published the technology overview document for Internet Explorer 7.

Security seems to be the central focus of the document.  Malware protection will be employed by protecting against malformed hyperlinks, enchanced address display controls so users know which site they are on, cross-domain scripting attack protection, spyware blocking with bundled AntiSpyware, and running in protected mode.  There will also be a new security status bar, a phishing filter, and full control of add-ons.

You can also expect the following features: RSS support, tabbed browsing, inline search from the toolbar, shrink-to-fit web page printing, and a better UI look.

It also mentions better support, but not full, for CSS.  Microsoft plans on becoming CSS compliant in a staged approach, starting with the features requested by developers the most.  If you want to be heard, check out Position Is Everything, as this site is mentioned directly.
