Robert's Sysadmin Blog Unraveling the datacenter one fibre at a time

Here was a cool resonce I got from the technet team, regarding RSS feeds of technets "whats new" page.

I really hope they expedite their roleout of RSS support througout the Technet site, though I must say, a quick browse though some of the MS IT Pro community sites shows quite a lot of synticated content! Cool.. time to add some feeds!

Hello,

Thank you for your inquiry on our plans to add an RSS feed for TechNet update notifications.

As you may know, we already offer RSS feeds for new blog posts and thread updates in numerous TechNet community sections, and there is already a TechNet security bulletin RSS feed. So, we are assuming that you are after the same thing we are after, and that is an RSS feed of "What's New on TechNet."

We have asked the RSS team about this a couple of days ago, and they were unable to give us a firm date. We expect it to be a few more months, at least. Until then, we're working on improving our new and updated sections on the TechNet "What's New" page (a new version of which will go live on December 15) and announcing this sort of material in the biweekly TechNet Flash newsletter.

Please let us know if you have other questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

Rose
TechNet Answer Team
