Postback 08232010 – Well its already come and gone, another week has passed and I didn’t accomplish as much as I’d hoped for the week. Fact is sometime you have to just take a step back in order to take two steps forward it seems.

Phone 5 is dead
That’s correct, I’ve managed to burn through 5 HTC Touch XV6900s with Verizon in the span of only months for each of them. This last time seems to be something totally different and left my phone with out the ability to power on. The other 4 all failed with the same flaw in the screen and what looked similar to a air bubble under the glass. Sadly, Verizon’s answer has been to simply replace it with the same phone.

Invite for WP7 TAP Device
On the upside of things with phones, I’ve been invited to try out a WP7 Dev Device and to help out in the building of Apps. This would be awesome and allow us to try and create some fairly cool Apps for my work if accepted. Not to mention I could even test out some other ideas for App options. Perhaps braking my last phone is more of sign of things to come and I might be able to experience WP7 first hand very soon.

Prototyping postponed this weekend
I had good intentions to work on some Apps designs through Sketchflow this past weekend. Something about loosing my AC in this Texas heat took over. Now that steps have been taken to restore things and at least cool things down, I can look at picking things back up this week… at least that is my plan.

MSDN is a Go!
That’s right, my activation has come in and I’m green lit for Ultimate Access at last. I’m on my way to hopefully bigger and better things now and that closes out last weeks Postback.
