The new stadium concept sounds great!

Comments & Questions:

1. The stadium should have a minimum capacity of 35,000 seats, but preferably 40,000.

2. Any cost overruns should be shared equally by the Fed. Gov., Prov. Gov., and the private investors (or 50/50 between Prov. Gov.& private investors if Fed. Gov. won't sign on to overruns).

3. Will 2008 ticket prices be increased significantly if new stadium built?

4. Who will be responsible for maintenance of the new stadium and field?

As much as I'd love a new stadium, I don't see how they justify it. It's used for like 8 football games a year...and what else??

There's just not enough uses. If they make it fully covered then that would increase it's value...but I just don't see the justification... 1/16/2007 9:46 PM | Dylan

david i would like a 40000 seat stadium. one of
the problems i can see you having is getting
government funding especially if the baseball
is empty because the goldeyes have no league to
play in. with calgary and edmonton dropping out
i would like you to join sam and try to get
triple aaa ball here in the american association.
the cubs,yankees,twins,bluejays and dodgers
would draw big. getting govt funding would be easy 10/12/2007 6:25 AM | keith fox

Dear David, I agree we need a new stadium, however only if it is a significant improvement over what we have. I mean we really need a dome or covered stadium. If we are going to do this we have to do it right. As a season ticket holder I usually do not go to games if it is cold or wet. I don't enjoy football when I am that uncomfortable. I would gladly purchase shares to ensure we get a covered (warm and dry) stadium. With our climate we need one. 11/21/2007 6:06 PM | Oliver
