If you're still using Google and you want to add image searching capabilities to your app, here's how.

What I'd really like to see here would be an option to choose from multiple search engines (I only use Ask.com), or even a meta-engine like DogPile, but this is a good start.

the help you are suggesting dose not work !!!

I did checked the API and unfortunately google has changed the page structure which of course affected this API

Regarding other engines - Yahoo provide its own API, which seems a better way to go (if only Google would be so kind to do the same).
At the time of writing this API, some 2 years ago, Ask were using some other engine for the image search (I think it was Yahoo's), and MSN (pre-Life) wasn't able to compete with them.
Now Ask seem to have their own engine - it might be a good idea to start and look this over, when I get the time.
Anyway - thanks for the comment, I'll see what I can do.

You might check out yahoo image search. They support a web services api all official like.
