Don’t know how I missed blogging this along with everything else, but the Release data for VS 2010 and .Net 4.0 has been announced as March 22, 2010.

Especially since it never happened and we're still waiting...
Yay Microsoft!
Although I don't blame them as the beta has been nothing but trouble and RC1 won't install properly. At least their being kind enough not to release something that isn't ready this time.
This and windows 7, does this mean we're seeing a kindlier, gentler Microsoft???

Well, release date is now set as April 12th. I'm involved with the launch event in Toronto. I'm with you Swago on being a kindler, gentler MS. I'd much rather they delay and get it right.

Well at least this means we finally have a release date.
I couldn't find anything in google saying any date that was in the future.
We're kinda getting ready to deploy some tools here and wouldn't mind not running production environments in beta.
As far as the future of microsoft goes i think the improvements in visual studio(on the whole) and of c# are a good sign.
Entity framework and LINQ to SQL need some work but again they got pretty much the right idea.
Fingers crossed.
