This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. The opinions expressed within are my own and should not be attributed to any other Individual, Company or the one I work for. I just happen to be a classic techie who is passionate about getting things to work as they should do (and are sometimes advertised and marketed as being able to?) and when I can I drop notes here to help others falling in to the same traps that I have fallen in to. If this has helped then please pass it on - if you feel that I have commented in error or disagree then please feel free to discuss with me either publically or privately? Cheers, Dave
Thin Clients, VDI and Linux integration from the front lines.... Raw and sometimes unedited notes based on my experiences with VMware, Thin Clients, Linux etc.

I spent a rather frustrating day yesterday trying to book an Exam on Prometric's Web Site yesterday, if you want to run through their Test Takers menu system you will be prompted to decide to look for IT Certifications and then coose which Vendor aligned Certification Track you are interested in - at this point it should redirect you to the appropriate page - well what you end up with is a fancy "Page not found" message.

Eventually I sucumbed to ringing the 1800 number - while I was on the line I tried one last stab and typed in and it worked, it also appears to work for Cisco, so I am assuming that this "temporary" work around will work for all vendors?

Had a similar experience booking a Microsoft exam - the site is completely long-winded, unusable, globally generic and a disgrace by today's standards. A well designed site should not take that many frustrating clicks and guesses to arrive at where you want to be.
