This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. The opinions expressed within are my own and should not be attributed to any other Individual, Company or the one I work for. I just happen to be a classic techie who is passionate about getting things to work as they should do (and are sometimes advertised and marketed as being able to?) and when I can I drop notes here to help others falling in to the same traps that I have fallen in to. If this has helped then please pass it on - if you feel that I have commented in error or disagree then please feel free to discuss with me either publically or privately? Cheers, Dave
Thin Clients, VDI and Linux integration from the front lines.... Raw and sometimes unedited notes based on my experiences with VMware, Thin Clients, Linux etc.

Now I did notice this post by Michel at Thincomputing a week or so ago and it is building all the time, they're now up to 14 Bloggers? Although some are not quite as enthusiastic as others?

Kudos though to Sam Johnston from the Dublin office for getting things off the ground. Although it's interesting to note that this would appear to have been established on the 14/15th of August and Citrix's own internal document regarding Citrix corporate blogging policy is dated 22nd of August?  ;-))

I would imagine that there are a lot of other large companies like Citrix etc, (MS?) that are also in the same boat where they realise (almost?) the potential benefits of passionate people blogging in a positive way on their behalf, keeping the community informed - BUT - they want to quantify it, AND they want to control it (or at least mitigate the imagined legal issues?)

So how is it all going to play out? I don't know, but it sure is going to be interesting?
