This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. The opinions expressed within are my own and should not be attributed to any other Individual, Company or the one I work for. I just happen to be a classic techie who is passionate about getting things to work as they should do (and are sometimes advertised and marketed as being able to?) and when I can I drop notes here to help others falling in to the same traps that I have fallen in to. If this has helped then please pass it on - if you feel that I have commented in error or disagree then please feel free to discuss with me either publically or privately? Cheers, Dave

For those us that have seen, read and used Doug's earlier works with MIAB (Methodology in a Box) this is exciting news, even if you aren't interested in Citrix or Terminal Servers, there will be lots to learn from his documentation, although this is an early draft.

Update: I believe Doug will be adding a form where you will be able to submit other suggestions at some stage shortly.

 Methodology in a Box™

Tips & Tweaks Section Beta!

DABCC is very happy to announce the first release of the updated Methodology in aBox 4.0 ‘Tweaks Section'

The goal of this section is to detail the basic tweaks needed to tune Windows for a Citrix and Terminal Services environment.  This paper is just a draft of what will appear in the upcoming Methodology in a Box 4.0. I've released this for the purpose of receiving feedback from you. If you find any bugs and/or have any suggestions on how to make this document better then please let me know. If I'm missing any tweaks then please let me know!

I’m also very sorry for the delay on this project.  It has been a long year for me and I’ve actually had less time than ever to work on MIAB.  I also had an accident and lost three weeks worth of work, it pays to back up your Word docs… ;)   So, I’m working hard to get caught up and hard to get this thing out the door.  Please stay tuned for more info from me and if you have any feedback then please let me know…  Together we can make MIAB 4.0 a total success!!!!!!

Thank you,
DB
