The opinions expressed within are my own and should not be attributed to any other Individual, Company or the one I work for. I just happen to be a classic techie who is passionate about getting things to work as they should do (and are sometimes advertised and marketed as being able to?) and when I can I drop notes here to help others falling in to the same traps that I have fallen in to. If this has helped then please pass it on - if you feel that I have commented in error or disagree then please feel free to discuss with me either publically or privately? Cheers, Dave

Well it's nice to see it's here already - I did get excited intially by their offer:

Try our service
for FREE

Worth £1353

included in the offer is:
  • Connection charge
  • Installation charge
  • Urban WiMAX Equipment
  • Router
  • 3 month service

Especially as UKOnline have recently changed their terms and conditions so that I *could* have opted out? but at £99 a month it's a bit steep for me as it's only home use.

For my money I'll stick with UKOnline, at £15/month it's still a great deal. Their fair usage policy used to be 500Gb!! but they've now stated that if you continue to be a very high usage (something like the 500Gb?) they will start sticking you on the same circuit as other heavy users - which does sound kind of fair really - the main thing is that they're not restricting your access to newsgroups etc, and there is no transparent proxy...

If you want to check the details have a look at -
If you want to sign up please use as a referer? Thanks

picture show, photoplay, flick, and most commonly, movie. Additional
terms for the field in general include the big screen, the silver screen,
the cinema, and the movies
