The opinions expressed within are my own and should not be attributed to any other Individual, Company or the one I work for. I just happen to be a classic techie who is passionate about getting things to work as they should do (and are sometimes advertised and marketed as being able to?) and when I can I drop notes here to help others falling in to the same traps that I have fallen in to. If this has helped then please pass it on - if you feel that I have commented in error or disagree then please feel free to discuss with me either publically or privately? Cheers, Dave
Thin Clients, VDI and Linux integration from the front lines.... Raw and sometimes unedited notes based on my experiences with VMware, Thin Clients, Linux etc.

Well I noticed this article in TheRegister last week....

Takes me back a bit, I'd been keeping an eye on the Digital Camera market for some while, when I finally took the plunge on a trip to South Africa back in 1998 andĀ purchased a Nikon CoolPix 900 for a massiveĀ AUD$1,450 Duty Free. It may to seem like it now, but the 1.3 Megapixel camera was just starting to show promise as having a quality to match the SLR's.

Who would have thought that Digital Cameras would have overtaken their SLR brothers within 10 years?

I have also just updated my Photo Album to include all the photos from 1998 till today.

If you are interested in buying a Digital Camera you can do no better than look through DPReview
If you'd like to create a PhotoAlbum, have a look at JAlbum.net, it's free AND it's very good!
I personally think that the best skin for JAlbum is BananAlbum
