The opinions expressed within are my own and should not be attributed to any other Individual, Company or the one I work for. I just happen to be a classic techie who is passionate about getting things to work as they should do (and are sometimes advertised and marketed as being able to?) and when I can I drop notes here to help others falling in to the same traps that I have fallen in to. If this has helped then please pass it on - if you feel that I have commented in error or disagree then please feel free to discuss with me either publically or privately? Cheers, Dave

Isn't it funny how you start searching for some interesting bit of info and you turn up something that is almost relevant, but altogether more interesting?

I was just doing a general search on "Citrix and blog" in Google  and again was reminded of ThinComputing.net where I found this rather intriguing piece of news:

"Citrix Access Gateway 4.2 Beta Is Available"
VanBragt.net mentions that Citrix Access Gateway 4.2 Beta is available for download from the netscaler ftp support site: ftp://support.net6.com/v4.2_beta
Login: VPN
Password: downloads

Now to be honest, I was already aware that it had been released as one of my colleagues is on the Spearhead training for this, but we were told that this is very strictly under NDA, not to be even remotely considered to be installed on the Customers site, etc, and then I check this out, and it would appear that the folder is no longer available - BUT - that there is now entitled 4.1.3 that is the exact same date as the release of the 4.2 beta. I wonder what version it will call it's self when I load it up tomorrow to test?

Meanwhile, if you have any interest in this device, you might want to go and grab a copy?  ;-))
