The opinions expressed within are my own and should not be attributed to any other Individual, Company or the one I work for. I just happen to be a classic techie who is passionate about getting things to work as they should do (and are sometimes advertised and marketed as being able to?) and when I can I drop notes here to help others falling in to the same traps that I have fallen in to. If this has helped then please pass it on - if you feel that I have commented in error or disagree then please feel free to discuss with me either publically or privately? Cheers, Dave

This is a request if anyone knows of a script, that possibly uses MFCOM(?), to Export or Save the Citrix Policies?

I have a client that *lost* the Dedicated Print Server (due to load and the RPC Service dying) last night and in the process ALL of the 500+ Network Printers in the CMC went AWOL. That's not too bad as they can always be reimported, but during all this the Citrix Printing policies decided to go walkies as well.

So although this is a request, you might just want to consider how you might recover these? In a large farm, it's a bit unrealistic to recover the entire Data Store just to get the policies back?

I do know that if you check Thomas's web site - previous post - there are a number of scripts that will allow you to Export/Import Published Apps, just wondering if anyone's come across anything that looks at the Policies?

I've found this on the CDN, but it's very brief, essentially it appears to show you an example of how to display the properties... Posted on Friday, October 7, 2005 5:32 AM Citrix , Security | Back to top
