The opinions expressed within are my own and should not be attributed to any other Individual, Company or the one I work for. I just happen to be a classic techie who is passionate about getting things to work as they should do (and are sometimes advertised and marketed as being able to?) and when I can I drop notes here to help others falling in to the same traps that I have fallen in to. Thin Clients, VDI and Linux integration from the front lines.... Raw and sometimes unedited notes based on my experiences with VMware, Thin Clients, Linux etc.

Just on the off chance that you have one of these and you don't have the manual to hand?

Out of the box:
UserID:         root
Password:     rootadmin
Eth0:             10.20.30.40
Eth1:             40.30.20.10

Easiest way of resetting back to factory default - put in the CD and reboot, this will take about 15 mins or so.

If you want to start of by connecting via HyperTerminal and the included Serial cable, be aware that it does take 5 mins or more to get it's act together.

Licensing is now tied to the FQDN (of the cluster, if you have more than one) not the MAC Address
Licensing expiry date is not enforced, just the ConCurrent User

Although you can access the device on
HTTPS://:9001, the new Win32 Admin tool requires port 9002!

If you Upgrade the Gateway, don't forget to delete the Admin Tool and then go back to the Web Admin Page and download it again, because of course this has also been updated

More on 4.2 as it becomes available.....

Can't seem to connect to my CAG ... what is the default subnet? 24 bit?
Thanks!
