This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. The opinions expressed within are my own and should not be attributed to any other Individual, Company or the one I work for. I just happen to be a classic techie who is passionate about getting things to work as they should do (and are sometimes advertised and marketed as being able to?) and when I can I drop notes here to help others falling in to the same traps that I have fallen in to. If this has helped then please pass it on - if you feel that I have commented in error or disagree then please feel free to discuss with me either publically or privately? Cheers, Dave
Thin Clients, VDI and Linux integration from the front lines.... Raw and sometimes unedited notes based on my experiences with VMware, Thin Clients, Linux etc.

I was working in Town last night and then had to make my way from Bank across to Mayfair to catch up with the Missus and I thought to myself that if I got out at Bond Street I could check out the Orange Shop there and see if they had a demonstrator of the M5000.

Well they do - and now I have to say it was a disappointment, boo hoo, snif. It does look good, and I did so much want to like it, but as I have said before, with these devices it really does come down to the size, weght and feel of the thing as to whether you really will get on with it.

If you like the PDA/PocketPC Format, you will probably think this is the best thing since slice bread. If like me, on the other hand, you really do like the SmartPhone Format then you will be thinking like me that this is just too big.

In some respects this just goes to show how good the C500 is, I guess I'll now have to wait on the C600 before I consider upgrading?
