Now how does this sound? I've only just been introduced to this today but it certainly makes me wonder how easy it is? So far looking through the documentation on this it's pretty slick, when I couldn't find Java 1.5 (a prerequisite...) it offered to go and download it for me AND it is covered by the GNU GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE.
Certainly compelling enough to try? ;-)) Why not, it's the right price?
UPDATE: This is so easy....... seriously simplifies SSL VPN - honestly, so long as you can read their quick start guide (only 10 pages - with Screen Shots!!) I defy you to take more than hour to have it installed and running!!! Clearly there will be products that do or do not run on (supposed) Hardened Appliances but at face value this really does do what it promises.
SSL-Explorer is the world's first open-source, browser-based SSL VPN solution. This unique remote access solution provides users and businesses alike with a means of securely accessing network resources from outside the network perimeter using only a standard web browser.
