The opinions expressed within are my own and should not be attributed to any other Individual, Company or the one I work for. I just happen to be a classic techie who is passionate about getting things to work as they should do (and are sometimes advertised and marketed as being able to?) and when I can I drop notes here to help others falling in to the same traps that I have fallen in to. If this has helped then please pass it on - if you feel that I have commented in error or disagree then please feel free to discuss with me either publically or privately? Cheers, Dave
Thin Clients, VDI and Linux integration from the front lines.... Raw and sometimes unedited notes based on my experiences with VMware, Thin Clients, Linux etc.

Although I'm not a huge fan of this model by Samsung - simply by virtue of the aerial - I am very impressed with the detail of this review by MobileTechReview. Of particular note is the comprehensive benchmarking of the performance stats, I believe this will be come more relevant as speeds and capacities increase within the SmartPhone market.

Don't forget that some of us poor saps used to have to fix File Servers for a living that had less memory and processor than some Mobile Phones have now....

I also came across an interesting release of a MiniSD WLAN Card from Spectec courtesy of a Norwegian Windows Mobile site. Wonder how long it is before we see this incorporated with memory as well?

And lastly, for anyone who hasn't yet seen the photos of the Orange version of the HTC Universal  dubbed the M5000 - due to be released sometime next year?

I have been using this phone for about 4 weeks now and it rocks. It has taken me (still) quite a bit of time to get used to it coming from the Crackberry after four years. it performs like a true champ and I learn something new to do with it every day. I also enjoy freaking out my kids with the built-in remote control to turn off the TV at odd times.
