The opinions expressed within are my own and should not be attributed to any other Individual, Company or the one I work for. I just happen to be a classic techie who is passionate about getting things to work as they should do (and are sometimes advertised and marketed as being able to?) and when I can I drop notes here to help others falling in to the same traps that I have fallen in to. If this has helped then please pass it on - if you feel that I have commented in error or disagree then please feel free to discuss with me either publically or privately? Cheers, Dave

Hot off the press - there appears to be an issue with the New 2000 rollup for Windows 2000

Update - Confirmed by Citrix at:

Unable to Connect with ICA After Installing Microsoft Rollup 1 for Windows 2000
There is a workaround so long as you don't need SmartCard Functionality

So far this has been noted in the Citrix Forums:

This would appear to be a quote from Citrix Support?

"Citrix have acknowledged the issue, i got this from support -"

'Citrix Support has discovered that this rollup is causing an issue with ICA connections. The symptoms being experienced are that you login to ICA Session and you get a blue desktop and nothing else. If you run a utility like Qslice on the server, you will see that Winlogon is pegging the CPU. Do not install this rollup until a resolution is available.'
