Geeks With Blogs

About Me:
I am a Female SharePoint Developer (a platinum unicorn). I have been working with SharePoint since I attended the Portal University in 2005. I hold a BA in Computer Science from the University of Missouri - Kansas City. I love playing Rockband, organizing user group meetings, working with code, attending events as a speaker or organizer, and having bizarre conversations about geek things with cool people. If you have any comments or questions fill out the contact form and I will try my best to help.

I am organizing my third SharePoint Saturday event – New York City.  We are going to have 9 tracks with the capacity for 300 people to show up to the event.  Right now we have about 150 registered for the event.  There will be a search track, Mindsharp training track, developer, architect, end user, special interest, and administration tracks.  It will be a great event with such speakers as Errin O’Connor, Natalya Vokrensenskaya, Joel Oleson, Geoff Varosky, Paul Swider, and others…To see the full list of speakers and register go to

Remember New York City in the summer is pricey, but worth it…There are a ton of free events and parks that are worth visiting, so it might be a nice mini vacation and you get some free training on the side.  I hope to see you all at the event.

Wish I could be there, but I'll be with extended family on vacation in the hinterlands of Northern CA, up near Eureka. Hope to make it back out east for Baltimore and Boston, tho. Good luck!
